When it's an emergency
If your pet shows any of these signs, call us straight away — don't wait to "see how it goes".
Difficulty breathing
Laboured, rapid or open-mouth breathing, choking, or blue-tinged gums.
Trauma or injury
Road accidents, falls, deep wounds, or suspected broken bones.
Poisoning
Swallowed chocolate, medication, rodenticide, or any toxic substance.
Seizures or collapse
Fitting, sudden weakness, fainting, or inability to stand.
Bloated, painful abdomen
A swollen belly with retching — especially in large dogs — is critical.
Won't eat or pass urine
Repeated vomiting, straining, or refusing food and water for hours.
